At Alvinesa, our mission is to lead the transformation towards a circular economy, maximizing the use of every resource and minimizing environmental impact. Our processes are designed to utilize by-products from the wine and olive oil industries, creating high-quality natural ingredients while caring for the planet. We do not destroy food to create our ingredients.
Commitment to Sustainability
Our business is completely based on the utilization of agricultural products and the principles of the circular economy. This approach is due to our deep commitment to the planet and the environment, which is intrinsically integrated into our business DNA and guides all our actions.
Circular Economy in Alvinesa
Alvinesa operates using these basic principles of the circular economy:
- Eliminate agricultural waste and pollution.
- Distribute products and materials in their highest quality.
- Regenerate nature and use renewable energy and materials.
We transform 100% of the raw materials we collect (such as grape and olive pomace, wine and lees) into ingredients used primarily to produce a range of products for global markets.

Sustainable Development Goals (SDG)
At Alvinesa, we are firmly committed to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) proposed by the United Nations. We adhere to two key global goals:
- Reduce global warming to 1.5ºC. Access to report..
- Reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by 50% by 2030.
In addition, we work in line with Goal 12, which seeks to “ensure sustainable consumption and production patterns”, and we focus on the following sub-goals:
- Objective 12.2: By 2030, achieve sustainable management and efficient use of natural resources.
- Objective 12.5: By 2030, significantly reduce waste generation through prevention, reduction, recycling and reuse.
